Why?: Professor Black has been more than an educator, she has been my mentor, my inspiration, and my driving force. From the very beginning, her unwavering support, wisdom, and ability to meet every student where they are have shaped me into the confident and passionate public health student I am today. Her guidance has strengthened my love for public health, pushing me to achieve more than I ever imagined.
